How do I apply?
All UK and international applications for entry to full-time undergraduate courses at The University of Northampton must be made through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). Applicants can apply online at UCAS online, where they will find a full and up-to-date list of the courses offered by The University of Northampton.
Please note the code for The University of Northampton is N38, you will need this to complete your application.


How do I apply for part-time study?
Applications for part-time study can be made directly to The University of Northampton and do not have to go through UCAS. To apply please contact the Enquiries team on 0800 358 2232 or email study@northampton.ac.uk.


When should I apply?
Applications can be made from 1 September in the year before the course starts. The normal closing date for applications is 15 January.


What happens to my application?
You will normally be invited for interview, where a portfolio submission is required. We will write to you explaining the next stage in the application process.


Can I apply for direct entry into the second or third year of a course?
If an applicant has completed academic study that is equivalent to the first or second year of the course for which they are applying it may be possible to enter the course at the second or third year.
Applicants will need to apply through UCAS and provide a transcript or list of modules including their credit value on request. The Admissions Tutor will then consider the application.
