Our graduates have successfully participated in both regional and national competitions and exhibitions, such as Luke Pajak, in the Best of Graduate Photography exhibition at the Crane Kalman Gallery, Brighton, 2009; and a finalist in the Association of Photographers’ Open exhibition at Shoreditch Gallery, London, 2008; and Lesley Churchill, who is a previous twice-finalist in the National Portrait Gallery Prize. Other successes include a commendation prize in the D&AD competition (2008), and participation in a range of regional projects, such as Arts for Health at Milton Keynes Hospital.
Opportunities on graduation:
The commercial design industries, marketing and public relations businesses, and public sector industries offer employment opportunities in specialised fields such as editorial, product, advertising, picture agencies and architectural photography. Graduates may also prefer to develop their practice as independent artists and pursue collaborations, commissions, funding, publication and exhibition opportunities. Other career paths include gallery curators and arts administration; students may also extend their skills and knowledge into Postgraduate study.
